WEST ORANGE, NJ — The Essex County Interfaith Steering Committee co-chairmen Pastor Misael Guzman and Deacon Frank Ingalls invite everyone to “Faith & Prevention: Impacting our Future Health” on Thursday, Oct. 6, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., registration beginning at 8:30 a.m., at the Life Christian Church, 747 Northfield Ave. in West Orange.
This interfaith symposium will discuss mental and emotional health, health and nutrition, substance abuse prevention, and treatment in Essex County with a goal to create a network of faith-based leaders and provide them with resources and information to holistically approach and support their congregation and anyone dealing with substance abuse and health related issues.
