Green Hill earns 5-star rating

WEST ORANGE, NJ — Green Hill has earned a five-star rating from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, which rates Green Hill as one of the top-rated senior living and nursing residences in New Jersey.

“It is an exciting time of innovation and excellence at Green Hill,” Executive Director and President Donna Lazartic said in a press release. “Earning a five-star rating from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services validates the hard work and premium care of the team.”

Green Hill’s service includes the transformation of the entire community to incorporate the principals of person-directed care, especially the Green House Homes dedicated to long-term care and short-term rehabilitation that foster individual self-determination and personal preferences in a home like setting, according to the release

“CMS created the Five-Star Quality Rating System to help consumers, their families and caregivers compare nursing homes more easily and to help identify areas about which you may want to ask questions,” according to CMS.gov. The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services rates nursing homes in areas that include health inspections, staffing ratios and 11 different quality measures.
