WEST ORANGE, NJ — Members of the Liberty Middle School Helping Hands Club attended the annual St. Patrick’s Day party, held March 17 for senior citizens at the Toby Katz Community Center in Degnan Park. Club adviser Jane Horwitz was on-hand to supervise.
Students set the tables, served lunch, and entertained with line dancing and singing. “When Irish Eyes are Smiling,” accompanied by a bagpiper, was a highlight for the seniors.
Town Council members Jerry Guarino and Michelle Casalino also stopped by to enjoy the intergenerational event, providing a memorable afternoon for all.
