WEST ORANGE, NJ — This upcoming November, the township of West Orange will once again be participating in Movember, the global movement in which men around the world grow mustaches to help raise funds to battle various men’s physical and mental health diseases. Over the past four years, the West Orange Movember team — Team Mo’ WO — has raised approximately $30,000 for this great cause and hopefully saved a few lives of brothers, fathers and friends in the process.
On Friday, Nov. 4, beginning at 7:30 p.m., the township will be hosting a kickoff fundraising event at The Essex House, 525 Northfield Ave. in West Orange. The entire community is invited to this event. To help jumpstart fundraising this year, the event will include various raffle prizes from local businesses, service providers and more. Attendees will have the ability to win these prizes and VIP packages upon purchasing raffle tickets and placing them in containers associated with each individual prize or experience.
