WEST ORANGE, NJ — A 41-year-old West Orange woman faces charges after she allegedly stabbed a United States Postal mail carrier in the face when the victim was delivering mail on Hillside Avenue. The attack occurred at about 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 10.
Medgyne Anglade is charged with aggravated assault and weapons possession for the incident, in which a postal employee stated that he was attacked following a verbal altercation. West Orange police went to the Hillside Avenue address and found the victim, who then identified the home of the suspect.
The 50-year-old man sustained several lacerations to the face and was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was treated and released.
