EAST ORANGE, NJ — The Provident Bank Foundation, which supports organizations that are dedicated to improving the lives of residents in the communities served by Provident Bank, recently awarded Jewish Vocational Service of MetroWest with a $7,500 major grant in support of the Job Readiness and Computer Training program. The Job Readiness and Computer Training program will train job seekers with disabilities, and give them the competencies needed to obtain employment while exceeding their own professional and personal goals.

“The Provident Bank Foundation is pleased to be supporting the growth and transformation of the participants involved in this program,” foundation Executive Director Jane Kurek said in a press release. “Providing greater work opportunities is immeasurably beneficial to everyone involved.”

As a result of the program, individuals will become more skilled while increasing their knowledge of financial and computer literacy through job coaching, computer skills training and workshops.
