PSE&G to replace gas lines on town roadways

WEST ORANGE, NJ — Starting earlier this month, PSE&G has been working in West Orange to replace approximately 3 miles of older gas pipes with new, durable plastic and/or coated steel piping to ensure a continued safe, clean and reliable gas system well into the future, according to a township release. Work will take place Mondays through Saturdays between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The gas main replacement portion of the work is expected to be complete in September 2016. The paving and street restoration will be coordinated with the town. Customers can find more information at www.pseg.com/gaswork or on www.westorange.org.
