WEST ORANGE, NJ — On Monday, July 4, at approximately 6:30 p.m., residents reported seeing a black bear cub on Skyline Drive in the rear of one of the homes.
As of yesterday evening, N.J. fish and game had been notified and residents were keeping an eye on the situation. Though not seen, the mother bear was likely in close proximity.
