WEST ORANGE, NJ — Save the date for FAMILYConnection’s annual fundraising gala “A Taste of NJ’s Best” on Wednesday, May 2, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Wilshire Grand Hotel, 350 Pleasant Valley Way in West Orange.
This event will honor Beth Berns, the Berns family and Bernice Manshel. Beth Berns is a former trustee and she and her family are longtime FAMILYConnections supporters; they will receive the 2018 Champions of the People Award. Manshel is the former director of the Division of Youth and Family Services and a longtime FAMILYConnections trustee; she will receive the 2018 Lifetime Achievement Award.
This fun-filled evening of fine food and wine will raise funds for 35 community programs benefiting 4,000 local children, adults and families. This event will feature a silent and basket auction.
