West Orange Boy Scouts visit Gettysburg Battlefield

WEST ORANGE, NJ — Troop 2 Boy Scouts from West Orange recently visited the Gettysburg National Military Park in Pennsylvania. The four-day trip consisted of a 20-mile hike of battlefield park; visits to the museum along with the renowned Gettysburg Cyclorama; and visiting the Soldier’s National Cemetery, where 156 years ago President Abraham Lincoln delivered his famous Gettysburg Address. The Troop plans future trips to Boston in 2021 and Washington, D.C., in 2023. Those interested in joining the troop can send an email to [email protected].
