WEST ORANGE, NJ — West Orange recently installed its latest historical marker, commemorating the life of Civil War Gen. George B. McClellan, who lived in West Orange from 1863 to his death at this location on Oct. 29, 1885.
The marker is located on Prospect Avenue at the entrance to the Kelly Athletic Complex. This marker is one of six such historical markers. More markers are planned.
