West Orange High School crowns Homecoming king and queen

WEST ORANGE, NJ — Kaia Baker and Julian Lee were crowned king and queen at the West Orange High School Homecoming game, held Oct. 11 in Suriano Stadium. School administration selected the candidates and seniors voted for the winners.

Queen’s Court nominees were Baker, escorted by Gustav Hall; Natalie Nevins, escorted by Johan Atwell; and Maria “Giovanna” Winning, escorted by Daniel Edwards. King’s Court nominees were Lee, escorted by Isabella Angeles; Elijah Millington, escorted by Meghan Ford-Titus; and Brett Zeligson, escorted by Imani Miller.

As part of the long-standing tradition at West Orange High School, an honorary king and queen were also crowned: These honors went to Myles Jones and Raven Duke Livingstone.

The West Orange High School football team lost to East Orange, 8-6, in overtime. The Mountaineers’ record is 4-2.
