West Orange holds ‘black business briefing’

WEST ORANGE, NJ — There was no shortage of friendly smiles at the Rock 1925 Restaurant at the Rock Spring Golf Club in West Orange during the “black business briefing” on June 15. The free community event provided networking opportunities for budding entrepreneurs and established business owners. Hosted by West Orange Councilwoman Tammy Williams, speakers pictured included attorney Elnardo J. Webster II, Downtown West Orange Alliance Chairperson Ron Raymond, Williams and West Orange zoning official Geniece Gary-Adams. Each spoke briefly, offering valuable insight into navigating the complexities, challenges and common pitfalls business owners can face on their path to success. ​
