WEST ORANGE, NJ — Members of the West Orange Human Relations Commission will host a vigil and peace march in downtown West Orange today, July 13. The event kicks off at 5:45 p.m. at Town Hall, 66 Main St., with remarks from HRC members and others. Activities include face painting for children.
Organizers will follow the vigil with a walk from Town Hall across Main Street, down to St. Mark’s Church, across Valley Road, across Northfield Avenue to end back at Town Hall.
The march takes place on the sidewalk and is a family-friendly event for peace, unity and respect, organizers said in a release.
