WEST ORANGE, NJ — Chabad of West Orange, 401 Pleasant Valley Way, will celebrate its third anniversary with a special Hanukkah Shabbat fete with special guests the Weinreb Brothers, who are talented vocalists and musicians.
On Friday, Dec. 7, at 4:11 p.m., attend a Shabbat candle lighting and Hanukkah menorah lighting ceremony, to be followed by services. At 5:30 p.m., sit down to a lavish dinner replete with all the traditional fixings and interspersed with lively and soulful singing. On Saturday, Dec. 8, the Weinreb Brothers will lead lively services at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Kiddush luncheon at 12:15 p.m. Chabad will then hold a musical havdalah and menorah lighting at 6 p.m., followed by a kumzitz with the Weinreb Brothers. Drinks and refreshments will be served, and there will be free dreidels and games for children.
