WO Fire Department to hold open house on Oct. 13

WEST ORANGE, NJ — West Orange Fire Department will host an open house in celebration of Fire Prevention Week on Sunday, Oct. 13, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at fire headquarters, 415 Valley Road. At this event, watch the raising of a 100-foot aerial ladder, observe a “jaws of life” rescue demonstration, operate a real fire hose, learn fire safety tips, see a CPR demonstration and receive fire extinguisher training. There will be giveaways and light refreshments.
