WOAHO to host annual membership meeting Sept. 21

WEST ORANGE, NJ — The West Orange African Heritage Organization will hold its general membership meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 21, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. in the Edison Middle School library at 75 William St.

At this meeting, all current members will vote by secret ballot to elect the next president, vice president and financial secretary for the 2016-2018 terms. All nominees must be paid-up members of the organization; if you are interested in running or wish to nominate another member for an office, send an email to Joan Reeves at jocraree@verizon.net by Sept. 12. Nominations will also be accepted from the floor prior to the vote.
