WEST ORANGE, NJ — The West Orange High School business department has been named a Gold Standard School by Next Gen Personal Finance, a nonprofit advocacy organization that provides support to financial educators.
“We discovered that your school is one of the few delivering the ‘gold standard,’ a required, semester-long personal finance course,” Tim Ranzetta of NGPF wrote in a letter to the high school.
The high school has been providing the course for several years and it is mandatory for graduation.
“We have the most dedicated staff here at West Orange High School,” Principal Hayden Moore said, “and we are proud to receive recognition as a Gold Standard School by NGPF.”
