John H. McKenna, 64, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2016 at home in Bloomfield, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Glen Ridge, Mr. McKenna was a lifelong resident of Bloomfield.
He was a graduate of Bloomfield High School and the University of Pennsylvania.
John was a computer programmer and analyst for Hayward Co. of Elizabeth, N.J.
He was an avid chess player and devoted member of the Freeman Tennis Club of Glen Ridge.
He was the husband of Mary Howe for 34 years, father of Luisa and Andrew, brother of Mary Beck and her husband Steve and the late James McKenna.
