Anatalia Faith Pena, 19, of Bloomfield, died on August 25, 2019 in a car accident in Miami, Florida.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at the O’Boyle Funeral Home 309 Broad St. Bloomfield on Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral mass will be offered at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church 73 So. Fullerton Ave. Montclair on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Interment Rosedale Cemetery. A candlelight vigil celebrating her life will be held at Foley Field on Sunday September 8, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. Please come by and help us shine bright for her one last time. She was born on April 20, 2000 in the Bronx, N.Y. , the daughter of Joy Winnik and Frank Pena. She attended Bloomfield schools and graduated Bloomfield High School in 2018 where she was a superstar soccer player and on the track and field, basketball and volley ball teams. She also excelled academically receiving a scholarship to Barry University in Miami where she was scheduled to start her sophomore year majoring in Sports Management and Business Administration.
Anatalia is survived by her parents Joy Winnik of Bloomfield and Frank Pena of the Bronx, N.Y. ; her siblings Jennifer, Stephanie and Samantha Garden, Keith Hernandez and Kristina Pena. She also leaves behind her maternal grandmother, paternal grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
