Arthur K. Linhoff, 82, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at the Morristown Medical Center.

Born in Newark, Mr. Linhoff lived in Newark and the last 50 years in Bloomfield.
He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and became a captain with the Newark Fire Dept., retiring in 1989 after 25 years with them.
He was a member of the Firefighters Superior Officers Association, former president of Bloomfield Central Little League, Bloomfield Northern Babe Ruth League and former high school referee for the NJSIAA for 30 years.
He was the husband of the late Margaret Kerekes Linhoff for 57 years, father of Kenneth and his wife Rosa, Glenn and his wife Lisa and Dawn Petti and her husband Michael, brother of Carol Caroll and grandfather of Kenneth, Max, Alexi, Gigi and Evie.
Arrangements are by the O’Boyle Funeral Home 309 Broad St. Bloomfield.
