Bernadette Wilson

    Bernadette Leanora McChesney Wilson passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on January 6, 2016.

   Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the O’Boyle Funeral Home, 309 Broad St. Bloomfield on Friday at 9:30 AM. The funeral mass will be offered at Sacred Heart Church, 76 Broad St. Bloomfield at 10:30 AM. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Bloomfield. Visitation is today from 4-8PM.     Daughter of the late Russell And Margaret McChesney, Bernadette was born in West Orange, NJ in the house that her father built. She graduated from Bloomfield High School and was married to the late James M. Wilson for over 60 years.

Bernadette was happiest surrounded by her large extended family and her Catholic faith.

   She was predeceased by her three brothers, Russell, Clifford and Paul Allison, her husband James and her son Jimmy.  She is loved and missed by her 9 surviving children: Peter and his wife Janice; Mariellen Biviano and her husband Frank; Paul and his wife Kathleen; Rosemary Rich and her husband Robert; Thomas; Annemarie Reid; Bernadette and her husband Keith Muscutt; Margaret Sayben and her husband Jay; Patricia; her nineteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
