Bessie Bliziotes

   Bessie Bliziotes, 93, passed away April 28, 2016 at her home in Palm Coast, Florida.

  She was born in Warren, Ohio to Christos and Maria Koutsokotas.  She was a devout member of the Greek Orthodox faith and was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother. She was married to the late John M. Bliziotes, who predeceased her in 1971. She was devoted to her family and was a very active member of the woman’s church auxiliaries, as well as helping in schools, libraries, hospitals, and nursing homes.

   She is survived by her children: Bonnie (Ernest) Koutouzakis, and Joanna (Paul) Haines, grandchildren: John (Gillian) Koutouzakis, Michael (Juliana) Koutouzakis, Daniel Koutouzakis, Jaime (John) Remedios, Maribeth (Brian) Davis, great-grandchildren: Alexandra, Sophia, Katherine, Jacob and Ethan and many other loving family and friends. She will remain always in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers.

   There will be a viewing and Trisagion Prayers Tuesday, May 3, 2016 between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm at Craig Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. The Committal Service will follow at 1:30 pm at Evergreen Cemetery in Gainesville, Florida.

    In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church or to Vitas Hospice of Palm Coast would be appreciated.
