Bronislawa Karwowski, 94 of Bloomfield, entered into eternal rest at her home. Born in Zamosc, Poland on March 21, 1922 she was captured by the Nazi’s at the age of 19 and forced into a work camp in German. After the war, she met her husband Peter and they started a family.
On September 21, 1961, the whole family emigrated to Bloomfield.
She found employment as a seamstress with Frank Saltz & Sons of Passaic where she worked for many years until retirement.
She is predeceased by her husband, Peter (1989) and 6 siblings in Poland. She is the cherished mother of Edmund, Henry & Richard, beloved grandmother of Jessica, Kathleen, Krista, Eric, Lindsay & step-grandchildren; Dana Peters & Christina DellaValle, loving great-grandmother of Katie, Morgen & Elysa. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 26th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Friday morning at 9:00a.m. at Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ 07003.
