Caroline A. Artesani

Caroline A. Artesani, age 84, of Bloomfield, NJ, passed away on October 26, 2018 with family by her side.
Born in Glen Ridge, N.J., to Wilhelm and Elise Wessel, Caroline attended Bloomfield High School and the Katharine Gibbs School before taking control of her father’s business, Wilmar Products. Later in her career, Caroline was the Office Manager at Mondial Distributing in Springfield, NJ. She was of the Protestant faith.
Retiring to Florida with her husband John, Caroline lived in Port St. Lucie for 23 years, where she enjoyed golfing (made a hole-in-one six times), and became the course champion of the Port St. Lucie Women’s Club. She also loved Mahjong and Bingo.
Caroline moved back to NJ in 2016 to spend time with her family. Pre-deceased by her husband, survivors include her son, Richard Thiemann (and Lynne) of Hubert, NC, and three daughters, Lisa Thiemann (and Jeffrey Cohen) of Short Hills, NJ, Suzanne Pasquino (and Frank) of Bloomfield, NJ and Michele Artesani of Westwood, NJ, along with many loving grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
Caroline found joy every day in life, and was a long time member of the Swim and Sport Club in Flanders, NJ. No one will forget her enchanting laugh and beautiful smile. She was a true friend to all who knew her and devoted her heart to her family and her many lifelong friendships. Gut Nass Mom, we will miss you forever.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 30th from 5p.m. to 9p.m. at Levandoski- Grillo Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ.
