Catherine Ann Coffey 

   Catherine Ann Coffey (nee Schwarz) 77, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2016 at her home in Belleville, surrounded by her loving family.

   Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the O’Boyle Funeral Home 309 Broad St. Bloomfield on Saturday at 9:30 a.m.  The funeral mass will be offered at Holy Family Church in Nutley at10:30 a.m.  Interment Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.  Visitation is on Friday from 4-8 p.m.  Please express condolences at

   Born in Orange, N.J., she was a lifelong resident of Belleville.

Mrs. Coffey was a homemaker and former real estate agent with the Wainen Agency in Bloomfield and retired as an executive assistant at the Chubb Corp. in Roseland.

   She was the wife of Vincent L. Coffey for 55 years, mother of Steven and his wife Coleen, Nancy Coffey and Timothy and his wife Danielle.  She was the sister of the late Henry Schwarz and grandmother of Jillian, Bret, Eric, Damon, Camryn Ethan and a special thank you to her caregiver Sophie.
