Donato “Sal” Salvatoriello, 81, passed away on Friday December 11, 2015 at home in Surprise, Arizona.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the O’Boyle Funeral Home, 309 Broad St. Bloomfield on Friday at 11 AM. Interment Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4-8 PM. Please express condolences at www.oboylefuneralhome.com.
Born in Newark, Sal lived in Bloomfield and the last 20 years in Arizona. He was a former Bloomfield Police officer as well as a Supervisor in the Transportation Department of the Essex County Hospital Center in Cedar Grove. He also worked as a detail manager at Sanderson Lincoln in Arizona.
Sal was the husband of Elizabeth (DiFranzo) Salvatoriello; and the late Helen (Petzel) Salvatoriello”; father of Joseph and his wife Karen of Bayville, Michael of Bloomfield, Donald and his wife Cathy of Bloomfield and Theresa Cunningham and her husband Brian of East Hanover; brother of the late Rose M. Salvatoriello; grandfather of Amanda, Mellissa, Alicia, Michael Jr., Gary, Jake and Kyle; great grandfather of Kailynn and Kennedy.
