Drew F. Margerum

Drew F. Margerum, 71 of Bloomfield, N.J., passed away at home on Saturday , September 18th, 2021.
Drew was born in Philadelphia, PA on February 22, 1950 to the late Andrew & Edna Margerum. He lived most of his life in Bloomfield. He was a proud Navy Veteran serving from 1968-1972, during the Vietnam Conflict and a member of the USS Wainwright Association.
Since 1995 he worked as a utility worker for the Bloomfield Board of Education, retiring in 2016. Prior to this he was the superintendent for Brookdale Gardens in Bloomfield from 1973-1995. He also played softball for over 40 yrs. and was a huge sports fan for the Jets & Yankees.
Drew was the husband of the late Margaret Ann Margerum; loving Father of Colette Conklin and her husband Rick and Matthew and his wife Katherine; devoted grandfather of Dylan J. and Jacob M. Lutter and Lukas M. Margerum.; brother of Michael Margerum.
Relatives and friends were invited to attend the funeral service at the O’Boyle Funeral Home at 309 Broad Street Bloomfield, on Wednesday. Interment at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield. Condolences at
