Eleanor “Ellie” Marie Titus, 74 of Hollywood, Florida, entered into eternal rest on May 27, 2020 at Memorial Regional Hospital, Hollywood, Florida.
Born and raised in the Paterson/Bloomfield NJ area until 1963, when she then married William G. Titus and raised a family together in West Orange. In 1981 she moved to Hollywood, Florida where she resided until her death. Ellie was a 1997 graduate of Broward Community College in Davie, FL and had many different career paths over the years, including working for CBS Toys, SONY, American Express, Gill Hotels, Publix Supermarket, but one of her favorite jobs was running the fishing pier at Dania Beach.
She had many interests and hobbies including ceramics, knitting/crocheting, going to the beach, traveling with family and friends, and being active in her church.
Ellie was the daughter of Edna and Edward Olszewski (deceased). She was predeceased by her loving, long-time companion John “Rick” Whitehorn in 2007.
Survivors are her son William T. Titus of Elizabeth, NJ, daughter Deborah O’Brien & husband Joseph of Hopatcong, NJ, her brother Edward Olszewski (Nan) of Fair Haven, NJ, Granddaughters Stephanie Ryan, Stacey Conley and great grandchildren, Blade Conley and Anthony Verrico. She will also be missed many nieces, nephews, former colleagues and loving friends.
Graveside Services are tentatively scheduled for Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Bloomfield at 11:00 a.m.
