Evelyn Moneika (nee Urso), 89, of West Orange passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2016. Relatives and friends may visit with the family at Paul Ippolito-Dancy Memorial, 9 Smull Ave., Caldwell, on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016 from 4 to 8 p.m. A Mass will be held at St. Joseph Church, West Orange on Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016 at 10 a.m., followed by the entombment at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, East Hanover.

A lifelong resident of West Orange, Mrs. Moneika was an actuary for the Prudential Insurance Co. in Newark for many years before retiring.
She was a member of the St. Joseph Rosary Society and the Friends of the New Jersey State Opera.
Mrs. Moneika was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Moneika; loving mother of Lisa Touzeau and her husband, Mark; dear sister of Joseph and Frank Urso, Mildred Hanely, Mary Grant, Winfred Selpe, Anna Sarcone, Lucy Berkman and Stella Bozzelli, and cherished grandmother of Mattison Touzeau.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, Tenn., 38105, would be appreciated.
