Fern Yanofski

Fern Yanofski of West Orange, NJ, died October 28, 2021. She was 66 years old.
Fern was born and raised in the Bronx, NY, before moving to West Orange. Fern (Miller) married Daniel Yanofski, on November 22, 1976.
She began her professional life as a teacher, but started selling real estate over 30 years ago with her husband Dan. 15 years ago, Fern and Dan founded Elite Realtors of New Jersey, in Livingston. Today, it is over 300 realtors strong and run by their son, Scott. Dan and Fern sold more houses in West Orange than any other realtor in the history of West Orange, over 800 houses sold. Their motto was always, “Pride in West Orange.” Fern loved spending time with her family, laughing, traveling, going to the beach, being an amazing Mimmy and a cold Diet Coke, with extra lemon!
Fern is survived by her loving husband Dan, her brother Sheldon (Miriam) Miller, her children Jason Yanofski, Heather (Jared) Lowy, Scott (Shari) Yanofski and her grandchildren Lance and Dustin Lowy.
Fern was a shining light to all who knew her, and her memory is a blessing. Her funeral was held in Livingston on Sunday, October 31 and is forever entombed at Beth El Cemetery in Paramus, NJ.
