Ingrid Dorsinville Blenman Claude

   Ingrid Dorsinville Blenman Claude, 51, of West Orange, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2016.

   A Celebration of Claude’s life will be held on Thursday, January 21st at Christ Church, 68 Church St., Montclair, NJ 07042 with visiting from 10-11 am followed by a service at 11:00 am.  The interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery, Orange, NJ.    Claude was born in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, July 11, 1964, to Claude and Josette Dorsinville. Claude has lived in West Orange for many years.  She studied psychology at NYU on the undergraduate level and was accepted into the clinical psychology program of NYU earning a master’s degree in psychology.  Claude was part of the fabric of New York University having served more than 25 years in higher education administration. She was the Director of Faculty Affairs at Steinhardt, New York University.   In this capacity she was an adviser to the deans, department heads, and faculty, and the primary liaison to the NYU Offices of Academic Appointments, University Housing, and Benefits. She was also responsible for monitoring and developing compliance with University policies governing full-time faculty.

   Surviving are her loving daughter, Josette Carlynn Blenman and a brother, Richard Dorsinville.
