She was married to Robert Griffin on January 6, 1951. After a brief time living in Boston, they moved to Cedar Grove where they raised their family. Mr. and Mrs. Griffin enjoyed retiriement in Whiting N.J. After the passing of her husband Robert, Mrs. Griffin moved to Bloomfield to be closer to her family.

With the children grown, she returned to work in various nursing capacities. She worked in nursing homes as well as doctor’s offices. Her last place of employment was at the Job Haines Home for the Aged in Bloomfield where she was loved by all. In 2009, she returned to Job Haines Assisted Living as a resident.
