Jason O’Connor, 36 of East Stroudsburg, PA, formerly of Bloomfield, entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 12, 2021. Born August 1, 1984 in Orange, he lived in Bloomfield most of his life before recently moving to East Stroudsburg.
A 2003 graduate of Bloomfield High School, he was a talented violinist, and attained first chair in the orchestra his Senior year. Jason worked most of his life in the hospitality industry in various positions. Undoubtedly his humor and charm were some of his most beloved attributes with his customers. He had worked for Cheeseburger in Paradise, Maggiano’s and most recently Bonefish Grill of Allentown, PA.
In 2013 he met his partner John, together they enjoyed hiking and camping, especially visiting the Delaware Water Gap, Bushkills, Poconos and the Pines in South Jersey. On December 8, 2020 they would marry and move to East Stroudsburg. Jason was also an amazing cook, he made a great spaghetti and meatball (his Mom’s favorite) and loved entertaining. You could always count on him for fun and laughter.
He is survived by his loving husband, John Warinner, his mother, Norma O’Connor Serio, brothers, Richard (Brigitte) & Jonathan, his nieces and nephews, Christopher & Lily O’Connor & Madison & Michael Halstead. In addition, he is survived by his beloved in laws, Brenda & John Warinner & sister in law Melissa Halstead.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 18, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Levandoski- Grillo Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ 07003.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Monday morning at 10:30 a.m. A Funeral Service will begin at 11:15 a.m.. Burial will follow at Kensico Cemetery, 273 Lakeview Ave., Vallhalla, NY 10595
