Joseph Palmieri, 80, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2016 at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston. Relatives and friends were invited to attend the funeral from the O’Boyle Funeral Home 309 Broad St. Bloomfield on Friday. The funeral mass was offered at Sacred Heart Church in Bloomfield. Born in Newark, Mr. Palmieri lived in Bloomfield for the last 55 years.
He was the owner operator of a Coca Cola Distributorship in Newark and Parsippany.
He was the husband of Thelma Cocuzza Palmieri for 58 years, father of Deborah Palmieri, Donna Tarantola and her husband Robert, Marc and his wife Dawn and the late Joseph Palmieri, brother of the late Leonard D’Armiento and grandfather of Fortune, Gionna, Robert, Olivia, Victoria and Claudia.
