Laura McCarthy, 58, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at home in West Caldwell, N.J.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the O’Boyle Funeral Home 309 Broad St. Bloomfield on Friday at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be private. Visitation is Friday 3-7 p.m. Please express condolences at www.oboylefuneralhome.com
Born in Bronx, N.Y. , Mrs. McCarthy lived in Bloomfield and the last 26 years in West Caldwell.
She was a high school and college lacrosse official, member of the U.S. Lacrosse Association as well a founding member of the Caldwell Lacrosse Club and Soccer Club.
Laura was the wife of Joseph M. McCarthy, mother of Patricia White and her husband David, Erin Garcia and her husband Marc and Danny McCarthy, grandmother of David James White, Aubrey White and Shane Garcia.
