Mark Heinze, 38, passed away suddenly on Friday, July 6, 2018.
Relatives and friends were invited to attend the funeral from the O’Boyle Funeral Home 309 Broad St. Bloomfield on Thursday. The funeral mass was offered at Sacred Heart Church in Bloomfield. Interment Glendale Cemetery. Please express condolences at www.oboylefuneralhome.com
Born in Livingston, Mark lived most of his life in Bloomfield, before moving to Colonia. Upon graduation from Bloomfield High School, he became a member of Local 7, (tile, marble & terrazzo), then attended the French Culinary Institute and worked at Huntley Taverne in Summit and The Modern at Museum of Modern Art in New York City before settling into the maintenance department for the Cranford School system.
Mark enjoyed entertaining his friends and family with his backyard barbecues. He was also an avid New York Yankees, Rangers and Notre Dame Football fan. He loved teaching Hockey and Baseball to his son.
He was the husband of Christine Maitner Heinze, father of Brayden, son of Sharon and the late Richard Heinze, brother of Shawn and his wife Nicole, uncle of Logan and Teagan. He is also survived by many friends and family.
Above all else, Mark’s passion in life was his wife and son.
