Mary E. (nee-Cannan) Burdorf, Age 77, passed away with her loving family by her side on Monday, February 22, 2016 at Holly Manor in Mendham.
She was born in Orange. She was raised in South Orange and Maplewood before moving to Cedar Knolls in 1975.
Mary was a Registered Nurse for over 40 years and spent over 25 years working at Morristown Memorial Hospital before retiring.
She was a 1957 graduate of Marylawn of the Oranges, South Orange.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Donald E. Burdorf Sr. of 49 years, her parents, William and Elizabeth Cannan, daughter-in-law Kimberley Burdorf, and step granddaughter, Heather Kornmann.
She is survived by her children, Donald Jr. and his wife Janet of Whippany, Susan DeCaro and her husband John of Cedar Knolls, Kevin of Denville, Mariann Kornmann of Roxbury, and Linda Burdorf of Parsippany; her sisters, Barbara Smith of Hackettstown and Anita Corbett of Green Pond; her nine grandchildren, Emily, Annie, Taylor, Tyler, Matthew, Lauren, John, Nicholas and Amanda; and her step granddaughter Rebecca. Mary is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
