Mary J. Baldassare, 92. passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the Oakland Rehab & Health Care Center.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the O’Boyle Funeral Home 309 Broad St. Bloomfield on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. The funeral mass will be offered at Sacred Heart Church in Bloomfield at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private. Born in Newark, Mrs. Baldassare resided in Bloomfield for the last 42 years.
She was a retired waitress from the Hilton Gateway in Newark and volunteered at Clara Maass Medical Center as well as Sacred Heart Church.
She was the wife of the late George Baldassare, mother of Mark and his wife Christine, grandmother of Thomas and his wife Alicia and sister of the late Frances, Betty, Walter and Richard.
