Michael J. McDonnell Jr., 52, passed away at home in Glen Ridge surrounded by his loving family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the O’Boyle Funeral Home, 309 Broad St. Bloomfield on Thursday at 9 AM. The funeral mass will be offered at Holy Name Church, East Orange. Born in Newark, Michael was a lifelong resident of Glen Ridge. He was a graduate of Syracuse University before becoming a Freelance Writer, Songwriter and Musician.
Michael was the son of Michael J. McDonnell Sr. and Natalina Strollo McDonnell; brother of Lisa McDonnell-Sobek of Belleville; and uncle of Samantha and Anthony Sobek of Belleville.
