Michael V. Volpe Sr

Michael V. Volpe Sr., 81, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the O’Boyle Funeral Home 309 Broad St. Bloomfield on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. The funeral mass will be offered St. St. Lucy’s Church at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Born in Newark, Mr. Volpe lived in West Orange and the last 45 years in South Orange. He worked in security for A.D.T. in Rutherford, was the former owner of the Montclair Triple A Group, was a shop steward in Local 3 Yonkers, New York and a member of the High Point Flyers Club.
He was the husband of Arlene (Iovino) Volpe for 64 years, father of Michael V. Volpe Jr. and his wife Lynda, Denise Sucameli and her husband Joseph and Dawn Roman and her husband Louis, brother of Angelina Giglio and the late Joseph and Gerald. He is the grandfather of Nicole Grabiec, Louis Roman Jr., Thomas Sucameli, Nicholas Sucameli, Michael Volpe III, Nicholas Volpe, Asling Winston, Carla Jude Volpe, Mia Volpe, Robbie Gallo and Jessica Gallo; great grandfather of Gianna Rose Sucameli, Michael Roman, Jacob Grabiec, Sienna Lee, Olivia Volpe, Rylie Winston, Dominick Volpe and Angelo Volpe.
