Pat J. Forte Jr., 83, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Mountainside Hospital in Glen Ridge.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the O’Boyle Funeral Home 309 Broad St. Bloomfield on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. The funeral mass will be offered at St. Lucy’s Church at a time to be announced. Born in Newark, he was a lifelong resident there.
Mr. Forte worked as a teacher, coach and principal with the Belleville School System for over 40 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus as well as an usher at St. Anthony’s Church.
He was the husband of the late Elizabeth (Forgione) Forte and father of Patricia Forte.
