Patricia R. Hanifin

Patricia R. Hanifin, (nee MacQueen), 86, passed away on Monday January 29th, 2018 at her daughters home in Nutley.
Relatives and friends were invited to attend the funeral from the O’Boyle Funeral Home, 309 Broad St. Bloomfield on Saturday. The Funeral Mass was offered at Sacred Heart Church, 76 Broad St. Bloomfield. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Bloomfield. Please express condolences at
Born in New York City, Patricia lived in the Greenville Section of Jersey City, Bloomfield for most of her life, and the last 6 years in Montclair. She was a teacher at Christa McAuliffe School (Formerly #28 School), retiring many years ago. She was also a Eucharistic Minister at Sacred Heart Church in Bloomfield as well as a member of the Friends of Bill W. After moving to Montclair, she became very active in town.
Patricia was the mother of Mary Patricia Hanifin, Daniel MacQueen Hanifin and his wife Kristi, Elizabeth Hanifin O’Driscoll and her husband Brian, and the late Kathleen and Patrick J. Hanifin; sister of the late Kathryn Mattheiss; grandmother of Scott, Carlie, Kelsey, Declan, Maeve, Ellory, Melanie and Aileen.
