Richard Traska, “Rick” 76, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Paterson.

Born in Newark, he lived in Bloomfield for the last 40 years.
He worked for Alcatel-Lucent in Newark, in administration for 26 years, retiring in 1992. Mr. Traska was an Army Veteran who enjoyed antique cars and 50’s music.
Rick was the cherished husband of Karen Smith Traska for 24 years, dear brother in law of Wendy Smith, Stanley Smith and his wife Diana and loving uncle of Stephen and Lisa Smith.
