Robert D. Mansolillo

Robert Donald Mansolillo passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, August 16, 2019 .
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the O’Boyle Funeral Home 309 Broad St. Bloomfield on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. The funeral mass will be offered at St. Cassian’s Church in Upper Montclair at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Robert was born on May17, 1933 in Newark, grew up in East Orange before moving to Bloomfield. He graduated from Clifford J. Scott High School and the Newark School of Fine Industrial Arts. Robert served with the U.S. Army in Korea. He was employed as an industrial designer by Congoleum Corporation for over 35 years and was the recipient of several US Patents. Robert had a passion for classical music and was a fan of the Green Bay Packers and NY Mets. He enjoyed many summers in Point Pleasant.
Robert was predeceased by his beloved wife Mary Ann, his parents Josephine and Louis, his brothers Ray, Louis, Al, Anthony, Mario and Joseph, sisters Minnie, Marie and brother in law Michael Lyon. He is survived by his daughters Donna and Daria of Bloomfield, sister in law Elaine Mooney and her husband Thomas of Bloomfield and sister in law Nancy Lyon of Howell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
