Rose M. Hedli (nee Calafiore), 95, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Mountainside Hospital in Glen Ridge.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the O’Boyle funeral Home 309 Broad St. Bloomfield on Friday at 9:00 a.m. The funeral mass will be offered at Sacred Heart Church in Bloomfield at10:00 a.m. Interment Glendale Cemetery. Born in East Orange, Mrs. Hedli lived most of her life in Newark and the last 19 years in Bloomfield.
She worked in retail for S. Klein on the Square in Newark for many years. Rose’s first devotion in her life was her family.
She was the wife of the late Carmen J. Hedli Sr. for 61 years, mother of Carmen J. Jr. and (Donna) of Toms River, Douglas and (Susan) of Bloomfield and Paul and (Christine) of Clinton, mother in law of Joyce Hedli, sister of Pauline Lanza and Babe Stewart and predeceased by 2 sisters and 2 brothers. She was the grandmother of Tiffany, Josh and Laura.
