Theodore Spieczynski, 89, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at his home in Bloomfield.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the O’Boyle Funeral Home 309 Broad St. Bloomfield on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. The funeral mass will be offered at St. Valentine’s Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. Born in Bloomfield, Mr. Spieczynski lived most of his life in Bloomfield.
He was a Navy Veteran of WWII.
He worked as a machinist with ITT in Nutley and volunteered as an usher and with Bingo at St. Valentine’s Church.
He was the husband of the late Marie (Lucas) Spieczynski for 66 years, father of Raymond and his wife Joyce of Bloomfield and Carol Lancaster and husband Charles of Bloomfield, grandfather of Anna Kapust, James Spieczynski, Laura Spieczynski, Michelle Schrote, Alyssa Choinski, Justine Lancaster and great grandfather of Vera Choinski. He was brother of the late Frank, Adele and Eleanor.
For those who wish in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Valentine’s Church in his memory.
