Belleville HS boys’ basketball team downs Golda Och Academy for third win in a row

BELLEVILLE – Alcides DosReis had 18 points to lead the Belleville High School boys’ varsity basketball team to a 46-41 home win over Golda Och Academy on Jan. 27.

Dave McAllister and Kayson Wilder each had eight points; James Laquindanum had five points; Mohammed Yousef had four and Andre Velez had three for the Bucs, who outscored Golda Och, 11-7, in the second quarter and 15-13 in the third quarter for a 32-26 lead.

It was the Bucs’ third straight win and improved their record to 6-8.
