Belleville HS boys’ volleyball team defeats Montclair

BELLEVILLE – The Belleville High School boys’ varsity volleyball team defeated Montclair, 25-13, 25-17, April 11, to move to a 2-3 record.

Fidel Barazza had 18 service points and 10 digs; Alcides DosReis had 12 kills, four digs and 10 service points; Michael Feneque had 15 assists and four digs; Marcus Kodare and Christoffer Marquez each had two digs and Akushdeep Singh added two kills for the Bucs.

In previous action, the Bucs lost to Bloomfield, 25-13, 25, 1-6, at home on April 7. Two days later, the Bucs participated in the Bloomfield Invitational. The Bucs beat Bloomfield in the quarterfinals before losing to J.P. Stevens in the semifinals in the Gold Bracket.
