Belleville HS girls’ volleyball team moves to 7-2 on the season

BELLEVILLE, NJ – The Belleville High School girls’ varsity volleyball team had a 7-2 record through Sept. 22.

After a 6-0 start, the Bucs lost for the first time this season, falling to rival Nutley in a three-set thriller. The Bucs won the first set, 25-23. Nutley won the second set, 25-16. In the decisive third set, Nutley won, 28-26.

The Bucs defeated Rutherford the next day at home and lost to Montclair Kimberley on Sept. 22 at home.
